LATAM Project Logistics

Fiber Cable and FTTH Consolidation for LATAM Imports

Plan one regional shipment around route sections, compatible accessories, Spanish labels, drum lengths, port handling and installation priorities.

Fiber Cable and FTTH Consolidation for LATAM Imports

Split the bill of materials by network section

Separate backbone, feeder, distribution and subscriber drop quantities before ordering. Each section can require different fibre counts, cable constructions, drum lengths and installation hardware.

Confirm accessory compatibility

Match closures, terminal boxes, PLC splitters, connectors and aerial fittings to the selected cable dimensions and route. A combined shipment only saves time when the parts are compatible at installation.

Plan drums for local transport and pulling

Choose drum lengths around route sections, pulling limits, warehouse equipment and inland transport from the destination port. The lowest number of drums is not always the safest field plan.

Make receiving simple in Spanish

Use item codes, bilingual packing descriptions, drum numbers and package counts that the importer and site team can follow. Group urgent installation materials so they are not buried behind later-phase items.

Send the supplier a destination checklist

Provide country and port, route type, fibre count, quantities, preferred drum lengths, accessory schedule, marking language, wood requirement and target arrival date. This allows the quotation and packing plan to be checked together.
